Dear Families of St. John's,
We met as a faculty today and would like to share our academic plan for the upcoming school closure ahead. Please read the letter that is attached as a PDF. (click blue link.)
Please note that we will NOT have a sign-up to meet with teachers. St. John's Lutheran School will be open to pick-up textbooks and school supplies on Wednesday, March 18th from 4:00-7:00 pm and Thursday, March 19th from 4:00-7:00 pm. Teachers will be available to answer any questions, but we ask that you do not linger in school for too long. We want to abide by the social distancing guidelines as much as we can. If your family is unable to attend either evening, you will need to contact your teachers directly. We ask that 1 parent and all students come to pick items up. If you are in need of any school supplies, there is a table near the 7th & 8th grade classroom with some supplies available.
Since many of our families are connected with the L-A School District, I have also attached the PDF of their plan. Two items to highlight:
- There is a Child Care Survey for families connect to EMT, Fire, police, medical, and similar fields. Please complete the Google ASAP.
- There is a Food Service Survey for families. If your families is in need of food service, please complete the Google Form ASAP. (click blue Food Service Survery link to complete Google form)
