St. John's Students Win Band Awards
Music Awards were given out during the Music Banquet at Luther High. St. John's students Griffin, Cianna, and Hannah all earned the highest level medal available for their band level by playing at least twice in church, SFAF participation, and earning points throughout the year.

Congratulations to all our students who participate in band and choir and we pray that they will continue to use their musical gifts to praise God.

Luther Preparatory Presentation
Pastor Nathan Scharf of Luther Preparatory School (LPS) gave a school presentation to the 3rd-8th grade classrooms. Pastor Scharf talked to the kids about the mission of LPS, the daily life of a high student, their activities, and the LPS curriculum. LALSAC Conference Meet
St. John's 5-8 grade did very well at the recent LALSAC track meet held at Luther High. Individual honors went to Brad as he finished with 3 first place ribbons in the 1600m run, 800m run, and 400m run. Our 6th grade relay team finished 1st in the 400m dash and 800m dash. Your effort was tremendous and we appreciate you using your talents to glorify your Savior!

Fundraiser Finale- Limousine Ride
The top student sellers enjoyed their time away from school. They went to Winona on a limousine ride to enjoy a little ice cream. Joyful screams, big smiles and giggles, were evident as the children piled into the limo. The faculty and staff would like to thank everyone who participated. Money raised will be used to update the computer lab and technology infrastructure.

2012 PTL Talent Show
Students entertained their grandparents, parents, and friends during the PTL Talent Show held in the Activity Center. There were a variety of acts: trumpet and piano solos, a magic show, readings, classroom skits, and a dance routine. We want to thank everyone who participated. There will be photos and videos of the show later today.
